Unmanned Fuel Sales

Datafuel can provide a range of unmanned control systems to support fuel sales in both commercial and retail environments.

Equipment and systems used for fuel sales need to be National Measurement Institute (NMI) compliant.

There are three typical types of unmanned fuel sales environments:

1) Commercial businesses that sell fuel to sub-contractors.

In this instance a prime contractor may have bulk fuel facilities and sells fuel to sub-contractors at an advantageous price. The definition of a sale can sometimes be unclear, for example if fuel is provided by the prime contractor as part of a cartage contract with a sub-contractor.

2) Clubs, fuel distributors or other suppliers running internal customer accounts.

Some resellers only use local accounts. This is sometimes advantageous where linking to public networks incurs increased system purchase/support costs, technical complexities and transaction fees.

3) Retail outlets that have passing trade and require EFTPOS capability.

This enables retailers to capture multiple types of non-account sales when the fuel facility is unmanned.
